Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona are reportedly considering a surprise move for France international N'Golo Kante. The Catalans are targeting multiple signings this summer to strengthen their squad under new manager Hansi Flick, who replaced Xavi Hernandez after a disappointing season without silverware.

Flick aims to bolster the midfield area, which was a major concern for Xavi last season due to injuries to Gavi, Frenkie de Jong, and Pedri. This forced Xavi to deploy Andres Christensen in the defensive midfield role.

Barcelona have set their sights on either Joshua Kimmich of Bayern Munich or Martin Zubimendi of Real Sociedad, but face significant challenges with their transfer fees. As a result, the club is exploring the option of bringing former Chelsea star Kante back to Europe.

Kante, 33, currently plays for Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League, having joined from Chelsea last summer.
