Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has set a remarkable transfer record in the Turkish Super Lig.

The 2023 African Footballer of the Year has emerged the most valuable player to ever join the Turkish league with a market value around the region of €100m.

Osimhen's market value is €70m more than Nicolò Zaniolo who who is the second most valuable player in the Super Lig.

Zaniolo joined Galatasaray from AS Roma in February 2023, he is followed by Jean Michael Seri (€25m), Steven Nzonzi (€23m), Tanguy Ndombele (€22m), Sofyan Amrabat (€22m), Mauro Icardi (€22m), Wilfried Zaha (€22m) and former Manchester United midfielder Fred (€20m).

Osimhen has been in remarkable form since joining Galatasaray in September last year following his failed move to Chelsea on transfer deadline day.

The 26-year-old has so far netted 19 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for Okan Buruk's side with his latest heroic coming in the club's 2-1 victory away at Rizespor.
