Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi recently visited the Nath Boys Academy in Lagos where his incredible journey to football stardom began.
The Nigerian midfielder started his career with Ekosodin Stars FC in 2002 before joining Nath FC in 2012.
Ndidi, who currently plays as a midfielder for Leicester City, has had quite a journey to becoming a professional footballer.
From playing in the streets of Lagos to featuring in some of the iconic stadiums in Europe.
Recent photos emerging from Ndidi's visit to his former Academy Nath FC as shared by SportVerb on Facebook revealed that the Leicester City midfielder initially began his football as a central defender before later converting to defensive midfielder.
Ndidi's breakthrough came with his move to Belgian Pro League side Genk in January 2015, in a deal worth €180,000.
After a successful two-year spell in Belgium, Leicester City signed the Nigerian international in a deal worth £17 million in January 2017.
After seven years at King Power Stadium, Ndidi has been linked with a move away from Leicester City, despite helping the team secure promotion back to the Premier League following their relegation last season.
Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, and Galatasaray have all reportedly shown interest in the Nigerian international.
