Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espírito Santo has expressed concern over Ola Aina's injury.

The 28-year-old sustained an injury during Forest's clash against Manchester United in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

The Tricky Trees defeated Ruben Amorim's side by a lone goal, courtesy of former Manchester United star Anthony Elanga's early strike.

Aina, who has featured in every Premier League game for Forest this season, was substituted in the 39th minute for Alex Moreno.

The Super Eagles defender is now doubtful for the Tricky Trees' next Premier League clash against Aston Villa this weekend.

"We have to assess," Nuno said regarding Aina’s injury during the post-game press conference.

"It’s always a concern when a player is injured by himself, so we’re going to scan and see how it is."
