Nantes manager Antoine Kamboure has heaped praise on Nigerian international Moses Simon following their 1-1 draw against Saint-Etienne in the French Ligue 1.
Simon gave Nantes the lead in the 14th minute before Ghanaian international Augustine Boakye equalized for Saint-Etienne with four minutes left to play.
It was the Super Eagles star's fifth goal in Ligue 1 this season.
The 29-year-old has also provided five assists in 15 appearances for Nantes in the current 2024/25 league campaign.
In a post-match reaction, Kamboure hailed the Nigerian international for his versatility.
“On the left, there’s Simon. He played the game we expected of him. He’s capable of playing anywhere,” the coach told the club's official website.
Nantes will return to action against Olympique Lyon in their next league game this weekend.
