Super Eagles and Nantes player, Moses Simon, has been named in Whoscored.com Ligue 1 Team of The Week (TOTW).
The Nigerian made the team following his outstanding performance in match-day 23 of the French topflight on Sunday.
Fresh from injury, Simon joined Nantes in battling Lens at the Stade de la Beaujoire and was crucial in the club's vital 3-1 win.
He registered his named on the score sheet from the penalty spot on the hour mark for his sixth of the campaign in 21 games while he also has seven assists.
The victory strengthens Nantes' quest to beat the Ligue 1 drop.
The TOTW sees Simon on the left of the 4-3-3 formation. OGC Nice forward Gaëtan Laborde playing centrally and AS Saint-Étienne’s Irvin Cardona deployed as a right winger.
In the midfield, the formation fields Zakaria Aboukhlal (Toulouse), Hicham Boudaoui (OGC Nice) and Pierre Ekwah (Saint-Étienne).
RC Lens goalkeeper Mathew Ryan has been chosen in goal and protected by a back four comprising Aron Dønnum (Toulouse), Jubal (Auxerre), Clément Akpa (Auxerre) and Nicolas Pallois (Nantes).
