Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has reportedly rejected a move to Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla.

Reports from the Spanish media indicate that the 27-year-old has rejected a deal worth €1.5 million as an annual wage from Sevilla.

The Nigerian midfielder is reportedly demanding €4 million per year before committing to any club.

Ndidi is currently a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Leicester City at the end of last month.

The defensive midfielder, who joined the Foxes from Genk in 2017, could not reach an agreement with the club over a possible contract extension after his impressive campaign.

Ndidi had a great season with Leicester City last term, registering six goals and six assists in 36 appearances across all competitions for the King Power Stadium outfit.

The former Genk midfielder is being courted by several top clubs in Europe, with the likes of Barcelona, Sevilla, Galatasaray, and Trabzonspor reportedly interested in his signature.
