Italian Serie A leaders Napoli has responded to Galatasaray's proposed €50m offer for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
According to Fanatik, the Turkish Super Lig giants have expressed their interest in tying down the reigning African Footballer of the Year on a permanent deal with a reported fee of €50m including variables.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli after his expected move to either Chelsea or Al Ahli collapsed on transfer deadline day.
Prior to his loan move, Napoli lowered the 25-year-old's release clause of €130 million was to €75 million.
Reacting to the speculations surrounding Galatasaray's proposed offer for the Super Eagles striker, Napoli's Sporting Director Giovanni Manna has disclosed that the club will not accept any offer below the player's current release clause.
“If Galatasaray does not pay the net fee of $82 million, they will not be able to keep Victor Osimhen,” he noted.
Osimhen has registered four goals and two assists in five Super Lig appearances for Galatasaray.
