Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle is set to announce his final 23-man squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the coming hours.
According to reports, the 47-year-old will release the final list today (Tuesday, March 11) at 2:00 pm Nigerian time.
Nigeria will resume their World Cup qualifying campaign against Rwanda on Friday, March 21, at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, before returning home to face Zimbabwe four days later.
Speculation suggests that the final squad could include some surprise inclusions and omissions.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles will begin their training camp on Sunday, March 16, in preparation for these crucial encounters.
The team is expected to travel directly to Kigali for their clash with the Amavubi.
With just three points from four qualifying matches, the Super Eagles cannot afford to drop any more points if they hope to keep their dream of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup alive.
