In a heartwarming gesture, the football star recently shared a nostalgic glimpse into his childhood on social media. Iwobi posted a charming family photo on his Instagram stories, featuring himself, his parents, and his sister.

Interestingly, Iwobi's father, Chuka Iwobi, reportedly had a promising yet modest football career before transitioning to studying law to support his family and ensure their future stability.

Adding to his football lineage, the 27-year-old's mother is the cousin of Nigerian football icon Jay-Jay Okocha. Iwobi's sister, Marie Iwobi, pursues a career as a writer.

Iwobi represented the Super Eagles in the recent international friendlies against Ghana and Mali held in Marrakech, Morocco.

While the Super Eagles secured a notable victory over the Black Stars last Friday, March 22 they faced a setback against Mali, conceding two goals in their second friendly on the Morocco tour.
