Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle is set to maintain the starting lineup from the game against Rwanda for their match against Zimbabwe on Tuesday, March 25.

The three-time African champions will host the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in their sixth game of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

According to SCORE Nigeria, Malian tactician Eric Chelle plans to start the match with the same players he fielded against the Amavubi in Kigali.


Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali will start in goal for the Super Eagles, with a back four of captain William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina, and Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi will anchor the midfield, while the attacking quartet will feature Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman, and Victor Osimhen.

A second consecutive win for Super Eagles will boost their points accumulation from six points to nine.
