Presidential spokesperson, Daniel Bwala, has slammed the lawmaker representing Borno South, Senator Ali Ndume, for saying President Bola Tinubu has attack dogs.

Ndume had stated that the attack dogs were ever eager to ignore the truth in his message delivered when he appeared on Arise TV to start attacking his personality instead.

Ndume said this while criticising President Tinubu's appointments so far, saying they are lacking federal character.

He said, "Besides, we are all in this government, what do we tell our people. We have these figures out, they are already viral and in circulation, but you know what? From now on, after this interview, those attack dogs or Maga dogs will start attacking Ndume, not the message. That's why we always get it right. It is not about Ndume, about me being a senator. As a Nigerian, I have the right to voice out all these things. Not only that, I have the right to even protest. I have the right that is guaranteed by the Constitution. But from tomorrow, those so-called Tinubu boys or people will start attacking Ndume. 'Oh, he's a frustrated person.''

Reacting, Bwala described Ndume as a frustrated politician who ought to have been cautioned for calling government spokespersons attack dogs.

He shared on X, "It is amusing how a frustrated politician would appear on television addressing government spokesmen as attack dogs more than seven times without being cautioned or advised by the anchor. He was reeling in falsehood and disinformation without being fact-checked.

"But when a government spokesman tries to make a rebuttal of the falsehood and disinformation, even before he makes a sentence, they would start interjecting him like a broken cassette tape of the 1980s. Sad."
