Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has slammed former governor of Kaduna State Nasir El-Rufai for telling Nigerians to oppose the state of emergency in Rivers State.
In a statement, Omokri wondered why El-Rufai's son who is a lawmaker, Bello El-Rufai, voted yes to the state of emergency when it was debated at the National Assembly.
According to him, El-Rufai is only trying to use other people's children to do his dirty work.
He wrote, "While el-Rufai was giving a press conference inciting Nigerians against their lawfully constituted government and condemning the Rivers Emergency Declaration, his own son, who is a member of the House, did not go to the House of Representatives to challenge the declaration. He cannot get his son to do his dirty work, so it is you here on social media that he has come to incite, because your life and future do not mean as much to him as his son's life and future."
