APC created more hardship for Nigerians, deepened poverty - Bala Mohammed

The Governor OF Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of exacerbating Nigeria’s misfortunes.

According to him, the ruling party failed to deliver on its promise to Nigerians but didn't fail to create more hardship for them.

The governor made this known during the Peoples Democratic Party’s inauguration of newly elected executive members of the North-East zone.

“The APC has failed to deliver on its promises instead created more hardship for Nigerians and deepened poverty. It is time for a change, and the PDP is poised to reclaim the hopes and dreams of the Nigerian people,” he said.

Further speaking, Mohammed urged the PDP to develop strategies to enable it to wrestle power and meet the electorate’s aspirations.

While inaugurating the executive members on Monday in Bauchi, Mohammed tasked them to reposition the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Warning them against distraction, the governor urged them to recognise the enormous responsibilities on their shoulders, stressing that “they are the vanguard of change in the region.”

He pointed out that the next general election is not just about political power but the future of children, security, and overall well-being of Nigerians.
