Nigerian international David Okereke is reportedly close to joining Italian Serie A outfit Cagliari.

Okereke is currently on loan at Turkish Super Lig club Gaziantep from Cremonese.

In 14 appearances for Gaziantep, the 27-year-old has managed five goals and two assists in 14 appearances for the club.

Okereke is an experience player in the Italian league following his stints with Spezia, Venezia, Cremonese and Torino.

His only stint outside Italy was with Belgian Pro League outfit, Club Brugge between 2019 and 2022.
