Interim Super Eagles head coach Austin Eguavoen is gearing up for the upcoming 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Super Eagles will take on Benin Republic away at Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny, Abidjan on Thursday, November 14, before finishing the qualifying series at home against Rwanda on Monday, November 18.

According to OwnGoalNigeria, Galatasaray's striker Victor Osimhen and skipper Ahmed Musa are set to return to the team after missing the previous qualifiers.

Osimhen, 25, has been in fine form since returning from injury after the last international break, while Musa has been impressive for NPFL side Kano Pillars.

Nigeria are currently at the top of Group D with 10 points after four games, having been awarded three points plus three goals for the botched game against Libya.

The Super Eagles beat Benin Republic 3-0 in their qualifying opener before recording a goalless draw against Rwanda in their next encounter.

Eguavoen's side later recorded a narrow 1-0 victory over Libya in last month's qualifiers.

The Super Eagles will need just a point to confirm their place in the next edition of the Nations Cup.
