Nigerian professional soccer player, Michelle Chinwendu Alozie has been criticised very heavily for recording an act that seems insulting to her fans globally.
Michelle recorded a video of herself throwing into the dustbin a bouquet of flowers she received from a well meaning fan.
She seemed very excited to throw the flower into the bin.
She captioned the video, "God said once, but not twice. Welp!!!"
Reacting, some netizens opined that the fame she has earned has gotten into her head, and that it was rude to throw away a gift from a fan.
Some netizens added that there was no point in recording the video but she did it purely for internet validation, and that it was time for fans to stop crushing on her.
