Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State has described his relationship with Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president-elect.

Wike is reported at several quarters to have assisted the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

The bromance between both men further intensified after Wike said he is inviting the President-elect, Bola Tinubu to the state to inaugurate projects constructed by his administration.

Wike spoke on Wednesday during a media chat with journalists in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers.

Addressing the nature of their relationship Wike noted that he doesn't have any close relationship with the former Lagos State governor.

"I know him as a politician and I have not had any political relationship with him. I have not had any close relationship with him," he said in an interview on Channels TV.
