Reno Omokri, a leading member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said that Nigerians demand an apology from Labour Party Lagos Governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour over his previous endorsement of the secessionist group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
He quizzed Rhodes-Gbadebo after the group was named the 10th deadliest group in the world.
He wrote on Instagram: "Has Gbadebo Rhodes Viviour apologized for supporting IPOB, now that IPOB has been named the 10th most deadly terror group in the world by Global Terrorism Index based on data from the University of Maryland, USA?"
Gbadebo who goes into the March 18 polls will bank on the goodwill Lagosians have for Peter Obi. He has been linked to IPOB since he made known his intentions to run for the governorship election.
His rumored link to the group has been debunked by his father, who said: “Gbadebo has no time for IPOB. This boy is highly educated and highly driven. We can track his record everyday in Lagos. He has no time for IPOB.”
