Nigeria's Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala assumes office as the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) on Monday, March 1, 2021.
She takes over an organization that is affected by huge challenges including the bite of the pandemic.
The pressure is made more enormous as she is the first woman and black to lead the intergovernmental organization.
