Commuters were on Monday morning stranded at various bus stops in the commercial city of Kano.
This is as a result of the withdrawal of services by tricycle operators to protest the state government’s refusal to suspend the collection of the N100 daily levy.
Numerous workers were stranded at their respective bus stops, while some, whose places of work are within the vicinity trekked.
Only a few cabs plying the roads are busy conveying passengers to their different destinations.
