Commuters in Kano were on Monday, February 22, 2021, left stranded after various commercial tricycles halted their operations.
This action by the tricycle operator was as a result of the refusal by state government to suspend the collection of the N100 daily levy.
The commuters stood at their various bus stops for a long period of time due to the unavailability of vehicles and those with close destinations walked.
According to reports, only a few vehicles plying the roads conveyed passengers to their different destinations.
