Federal Government has revealed a new visa policy for 2020.
The new visa policy would allow tourists to visit the country without compromising National Security as revealed by the Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration, Muhammed Babandede in an interview.

"We have historical heritages in this country. We can give tourists visas in collaboration with the tourist operators in Nigeria. Hotels will benefit and it has been well packaged. I don't want to give you details about it," he said.
Giving an instance of how the policy would work, Babandede said there is a popular church in Nigeria and tourists might want to visit for it for prayers. He said the country can latch onto that opportunity to generate tourism revenue.
While noting that lots of benefits would accrue from that endeavor, he stressed that insecurity situations in Nigeria ae exaggerated.
