The tweets shared by suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan on the day she claimed she was sexually harassed by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, have surfaced.
Recently, Natasha alleged on national television that she was sexually harassed by Akpabio, adding that because she refused his sexual advances, he had been punishing her in the Senate.
She also revealed that Akpabio made passes at her during his birthday which she attended alongside her husband.
She said the Senate President held her hand in the presence of her husband and showed her around his house, during which he made his interest in her known.
However, tweets she uploaded during the birthday celebration showed a happy Natasha who now claims sexual harassment occurred on the same day.
She wrote, "Great hearts are born in December (argue with your keypad) geniuses on the 9th Don't Play!!!
"So today got @senator_akpabio, Senator Jaribe and my humble self celebrating our birthdays but I joined my Senate President to mark his at the serene Akwa Ibom state.
"Next year, my 45th, will be celebrated at my beautiful hometown Ihima in Kogi state. Start preparing yasef o.
"Anyway, I woke up to thousand of goodwill messages from family and friends.
"God bless your hearts.
"I ate and danced and dragged a standing fan with @asuquoekpenyongir who insisted on enjoining the breeze alone
"In all, I had a simple fun day and even though I didn't have a cake of my own today, I connected mentally as I physically stood by the Senate President cutting his birthday cake
"I love you all so dearly."
