An unidentified man has tried to grab President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari while he was posing for a photo session with key government officials.
It occurred during the Argungu fishing festival that was just concluded in Kebbi State.
The short clip which was circulated by End SARS Convener, Segun Awosanya, pictures the President and government officials standing in front of piles of cement before the unknown man tried to grab him.
What resulted in that short moment was a scuffle of the President's aides surrounding the unknown man thereafter.

Twitter users responded to the events thus:
What if he wanted to touch the president's hand and infect him with Colonial Vilusi. If you look closely, he went straight for his hands. This kind of incompetence on the part of the security team, shouldn't be accepted !!

Reacting to the incident, Special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity, Femi Adesina said the young man who rushed towards the president at Argungu Fishing Festival in Kebbi state on Thursday wanted to shake hands with the president.
Not many people believed that line of thought.
Dear Uncle Femi Adesina, the young man did not walk like you portrayed.

Though the intention of the young man could not be established via video, that move was obviously forceful.
