Sky Bet Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers have completed the signing of Nigerian international Emmanuel Dennis from Nottingham Forest.

Dennis joined Rovers on transfer deadline day, becoming the club's third signing after Yuri Ribeiro from Braga and Cauley Woodrow from Luton Town.

The 27-year-old has become the fourth Nigerian international to sign for the Blue and Whites, following in the footsteps of Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Dickson Etuhu, and Hope Akpan.

The Super Eagles striker has not featured for Nottingham Forest this season, as he is considered surplus to requirements by Nuno Espirito Santo.

His last appearance for the Tricky Trees came in May 2023 against Crystal Palace.
