Demola Olarewaju, an aide to former vice president Atiku Abubakar, has said the power supply to the Band A customers is epileptic.
Band A customers are those designated by electrical distribution companies (Discos) to get 20-hour power supply per day.
However, Olarewaju stated that the supply has reduced to 10 hours per day, adding that the discos still charge customers at the rate of 20-hour power supply.
He said on X, "Why should consumers be paying exorbitantly for a 20-hour daily power supply service but receiving less than 10 hours daily?
"The fraudulent Band A, B, C arrangement of the DISCOs needs to be revisited nationally as soon as Tinubu is voted out.
"These DISCOs knew they couldn't service enough areas with Band A 20-hour power supply, but they designated more areas as Band A, with the consent of the Regulatory Commission.
"Now their services are epileptic in most areas, and the Commission is looking away."
