Galatasaray skipper Fernando Muslera has heaped praises on Nigeria's Victor Osimhen following his remarkable display against Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig.

The 26-year-old scored a brace as the Super Lig leaders recorded a hard-fought 2-1 victory on Monday, February 17.

The Super Eagles striker has now netted 19 goals and five assists in 24 appearances since joining the Super Lig champions.

Team captain Muslera has commended the on-loan striker for his incredible display for the Turkish champions.

“He really puts in a lot of effort and fights every minute. He never gives up. We are all grateful to play with a player like him.

“We knew we would achieve something as a result of supporting him. Today, he scored the goals that brought us victory. The second half allowed us to find ourselves even better and to score very effectively from a dead ball.”

Galatasaray will face Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce in their next league fixture on Monday, February 24.
