An elderly woman has disclosed that she has voted and received her money, confirming the vote-buying speculations at the ongoing 2024 Ondo governorship elections.

The unidentified old lady from Igbotako revealed this in an interaction with TVC News.

Earlier, TheCable reported that some party agents were handing out signed papers to voters at some polling units.

These signed papers, as we are learning, will be used by the voters to collect cash from the party agents after the polls.

Additionally, officials of the Department of State Services (DSS) arrested a suspected vote-buyer in the morning after he was caught with two 'Ghana Must Go' bags full of cash to induce voters.

However, polls have officially closed across the 18 Local Government Areas, with collation currently underway.
