Nigerians are currently debating on whether Jesus Christ would have cancelled Church activities had it been the coronavirus experienced in the world today had existed during his time on earth.

The virus which first broke out in China has spread to other parts of the world and was yesterday declared to be a globally pandemic by the World Health Organization, WHO.

The spread has seen major events like sporting tournaments, music concerts, political gatherings etc cancelled or suspended.

This has led to a debate on whether Jesus would have done the same to the gatherings he had had it been there was coronavirus during his time on earth.

The debate was started by Yinka Ogunnubi who tweeted: "Would Jesus cancel church gathering because of coronavirus? Please vote and also add a comment of why you voted yes or no. Thank you!"
