Following his stellar performance against Napoli in the Italian Serie A, some Nigerian football enthusiasts took to social media to shower praises on Ademola Lookman for putting Napoli to the sword as payback for their poor treatment of Victor Osimhen.

Lookman starred as Atalanta thumped Napoli 3-0 in Serie A on Sunday, November 3.

The 27-year-old netted a brace to guide Gian Piero Gasperini's side to a remarkable victory away at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, ending Napoli's ten-match unbeaten run.

The Nigerian international scored the opener early in the 10th minute with a superb volley before adding the second in the 31st minute.

Mateo Retegui added the third in stoppage time to seal a convincing victory for La Dea.

Some Nigerian fans took to X to heap praises on Lookman for serving justice to Napoli for how they forced his fellow countryman Osimhen away from the club.
