Lagos Unrest is currently trending on Twitter after Lagosians took to the street to defend themselves against robbers who have taken advantage of the lockdown order in the state.
The lockdown was declared by the President, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), as a measure to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Since the commencement of the knockdown which has entered its second week and now declared indefinite, many neighbourhoods have found it difficult to have peace.
Activities of robbers both armed and unarmed has led to small vigilante groups springing up to protect their neighbourhood.
