A quick check on the INEC Result Viewing Portal, IREV shows the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has uploaded 4.5% of the results from the ongoing Edo State governorship election.
The latest check on the portal shows 205 out of 4,519 polling units in the state have successfully submitted their results.
This allows the general public to monitor the results as they trickle in.
Despite being relatively peaceful, the election has been laced with various challenges including the late arrival of material in some parts of the state and heavy rains in some areas, especially in Edo Central.
However, the voting process is continuing as the state’s 2.2 million registered voters make their choice for the next governor.
