Chelsea forward Jaden Sancho has stated that he has a lot of people to prove wrong following his impressive performance against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Sancho was on the scoresheet as Chelsea beat Tottenham 4-3 in the London Derby, helping the Blues close the gap on Liverpool to four points.

The Manchester United loanee began Chelsea's comeback in the 16th minute after Spurs had taken an early two-goal lead through Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski.

Cole Palmer grabbed a brace from the spot, with Enzo Fernandez also finding the back of the net in what was a remarkable victory for Enzo Maresca's team.

Speaking after the game, Sancho, who joined the Blues after struggling for game time under Erik ten Hag at Manchester United, stated that he has a lot of people to prove wrong.

“From day one, they made me feel welcome at Chelsea. I know that I have a lot of people to prove wrong.

“I’ve been working very hard. Let me say thank you to the staff and the team for believing in me and giving me this opportunity,” Sancho told SuperSport TV.
