Nigerian international Calvin Bassey has hailed his Fulham side for their remarkable victory against Liverpool in the Premier League.

The Cottagers stunned the Premier League leaders 3-2 at the Craven Cottage on Sunday, April 6.

The Reds took the lead through Alexis Mac Allister early in the 13th minute before Ryan Sessegnon equalized for the home side in the 23rd minute.

Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi gave Fulham the lead in the 32nd minute before Rodrigo Muniz added another to give Marco Silva's side a two-goal buffer five minutes later.

Luiz Diaz reduced the deficit in the 72nd minute as the home side held on to famous victory against the runaway Premier League winners.

Bassey after the game took to social media to celebrate his side's big win against Arne Slot's side.
