Controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo has alleged that investigative journalist David Hundeyin is behind the arrest of Bristol Isaac, also known as PIDOMNigeria.

She described Hundeyin as "a liar, a cheat, and a fraud" who betrayed the whistleblower due to a financial disagreement.

Bristol Isaac was apprehended by the police in a hotel after operatives of the National Cybercrime Centre stormed his location.

The police stated that a discreet investigation revealed that Hundeyin was an accomplice of PIDOMNigeria.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja on Tuesday, the Force Spokesperson Muyiwa Adejobi said PIDOM was arrested following a petition from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

In a video on X, Olunloyo claimed that David used PIDOMNigeria for his own gain without the latter realizing it.

"I did a whole two hours on PIDOM. I am the best investigative journalist in Africa. Now, I dont look for validation, I am not David Hundeyin. PIDOM was a guy who started his page. He started as an activist cause, helping the helpless. Bristol started as someone putting stories that were not heard then he met David Hundeyin."

"David Hundeyin used PIDOM for his agenda. David Hundeyin lies. I dont know whether he studied journalism. This is somebody who went and wrote his Wikipedia page and vandalized several others. He likes to dim other people's light so that his can shine brighter."

"I know where he lives in Kumasi Ghana, I was the one who revealed he had left for Ghana, and I am the one who told you he filed for asylum in Canada, the US, and Germany and they all denied him because he said he was gay."

"The guy is a liar, a cheat, and a fraud. David is PIDOM, PIDOM is David. So David set PIDOM up for a fall and it was over money. They had disagreements and David set him up. David told some of the authorities where he was staying. It was David Hundeyin who alerted police officers and the cybercrime unit of his location."
