Dangote Cement truck reportedly claims lives in Epe after a gory accident

A video showing the moment a corpse was carried by residents in Epe, Lagos State, with the help of members of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), has emerged on social media.

The video was shared on social media by the popular blog, Lagos_junction.

The blog indicated that the accident was caused after a Dangote Cement trailer with faulty brakes rammed into some bystanders at Alapere Market.

The report indicated that schoolchildren were also among the victims.

"It’s a Black Monday in Epe as a Dangote Cement trailer, reportedly with faulty brakes, ran into Alapere Market, claiming countless lives," the post reads.

"As of the time of this report, bodies are still being carried out, with victims including children on their way to school and people going about their day in the market."

"May God bring comfort and strength to the grieving families and loved ones during this tragic time."

The video has generated mixed reactions on social media.
