Benin Republic will welcome Nigeria to the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan later today (Thursday, November 14) in what will be the penultimate game in the 2025 Nations Cup qualifiers.
The encounter will be the third meeting between the two teams this year, as they are in the same group for both the African Cup of Nations and the World Cup qualifiers.
Gernot Rohr's side stunned the Finidi George-led Super Eagles team on Nigeria's last visit to the same venue back in June.
The Cheetahs came from a goal down to beat the three-time African champions 2-1 in what was Nigeria's fourth game in the World Cup qualifiers.
However, the Super Eagles redeemed themselves with a convincing 3-0 victory in their last meeting in September in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
Atalanta's Ademola Lookman netted twice, while Victor Osimhen come off the bench to add another to seal a convincing victory for Augustine Eguavoen's side.
