On-air-personality and journalist, Reuben Abati has warned spokespersons of political parties that their role isn't permanent as he asked them to "find other things to do".
Abati sounded the warning on the What's Trending segment of Arise TVs Morning show Breakfast Daily on Monday, March 3.
He was, alongside, Rufai Oseni discussing the now-viral leaked conversation between Peter Obi and Bishop David Oyedepo.
After touching on the subject, Abati who was a former presidential aide to President Goodluck Jonathan called out spokespersons for heating up Nigeria's political terrain.
"And that is why I said that spokespersons should go and find other things to do. Being a spokesperson isn't a lifetime job. The ones that are ideal amongst them, if they don't have a job let them begin to write applications so that they don't continue to heat up the polite."
"There must be something that a man can do."
