Super Eagles duo Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen have been named in Africa's Best XI for 2024.
Lookman and Osimhen were named in an attacking front three with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah at the CAF Awards gala held in Marrakech, Morocco on Monday, December 16.
Cameroon and Manchester United's goalkeeper Andre Onana was named in goal, with a three-back defense of Achraf Hakimi, Kalidou Koulibaly, and DR Congo's Chancel Mbemba.
Ghana's Mohammed Kudus, Sofyan Amrabat, Ivory Coast's Franck Kessie, and Tottenham Hotspur's Yves Bissouma completed the midfield quartet.
Ademola Lookman won the greatest prize on the night, succeeding his Super Eagles teammate Victor Osimhen as the new African Footballer of the Year.
This brings the total number of Nigerian male footballers who have won the African Best Award to seven.
