Olalekan Jacob Ponle, better known as Woodberry, was born on May 25, 1989, in Lagos State, Nigeria, is a social media personality and fraudster who gained notoriety for his lavish lifestyle and subsequent legal troubles.

He was sentenced to eight years and three months in prison in the United States for his involvement in a multimillion-dollar fraud.

Woodberry was also ordered to pay restitution to his victims and will be deported to Nigeria after serving his sentence.

Woodberry was convicted on one count of fraud, with seven other counts dismissed following a plea bargain.

He was involved in Business Email Compromise (BEC) schemes, where scammers gain unauthorized access to email accounts and use them to trick others into paying money into certain accounts.

He was arrested in Dubai along with his associate, Hushpuppi, and later extradited to the United States to face trial.
