Tobi Adegboyega is a Nigerian pastor and the founder of the Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation) based in London, England. Born on November 11, 1980, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, he moved to London in 2005, where he initially worked as a kitchen porter while sharing a room with his cousin, actor John Boyega. Adegboyega founded SPAC Nation in 2008 with just three members, and under his leadership, the church became known for its unconventional approach, including encouraging criminals to drop their weapons at the altar during services.

Despite his charismatic leadership and growing following, Adegboyega and SPAC Nation have faced significant controversies. A BBC Panorama investigation accused him and other church leaders of financial exploitation, including pressuring youths to sell blood and soliciting large sums of money from churchgoers.

In May 2020, Adegboyega stepped down as Lead Pastor, handing over the church to Samuel Akokhia. However, by June 2022, the U.K. government ordered the shutdown of SPAC Nation due to financial irregularities and lack of transparency.

Amid these controversies, Adegboyega's lifestyle has drawn both admiration and criticism. Known for his lavish lifestyle, including a mansion, expensive cars, jewelry, and clothing, he has also been reported to engage in charitable efforts. These philanthropic activities, highlighted in Nigerian news sources, stand in stark contrast to the allegations of financial misconduct that have surrounded him and SPAC Nation.
