MohBad, born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba on January 3, 1996, in Lagos, Nigeria, was a talented figure in the Nigerian music industry. Raised in Ketu, Lagos state, MohBad showed early promise in music, reflecting his innate talent and passion from a young age. His journey into the music scene reached a pivotal moment with the release of his debut album "Light" in late 2020, following the viral success of his song "Ponmo" featuring Naira Marley and Lil Kesh.

Throughout his career, MohBad became known for his impactful tracks such as "Peace," "Beast and Peace," "Sorry," and the chart-topping hit "KPK (Ko Por Ke)" produced by Rexxie. His collaboration with Rexxie earned multiple nominations at The Headies Awards 2022, highlighting his growing influence and popularity within the Afrobeats genre. Tragically, MohBad passed away prematurely, but his legacy endured through posthumous success, notably with his song "Peace" topping charts and gaining recognition on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart.

Following his departure from Marlian Records, MohBad released his first EP titled "Blessed" under his own label, Imolenization, in June 2023. Despite his abbreviated time in the limelight, MohBad's impact on Nigerian music remains profound. His distinctive Afrobeats style continues to resonate with fans and fellow artists alike, solidifying his place as a significant figure in the contemporary Nigerian music landscape.
