Chuba Akpom is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Ligue 1 club Lille, on loan from Ajax. Born on October 9, 1995, in London, Akpom began his career at Arsenal's youth academy before making his senior debut in 20131. Over the years, he has had loan spells with several clubs, including Brentford, Coventry City, Nottingham Forest, Hull City, Brighton, and Belgian club Sint-Truiden.

In 2018, Akpom signed with Greek club PAOK, where he became a club icon and played a crucial role in their double-winning squad of 2018-19. He later moved to Middlesbrough in 2020 and returned to PAOK on loan in 20211. In August 2023, he joined Ajax, and in February 2025, he was loaned to Lille with an option to buy.
