The moment African football legend, Samuel Eto’o ran into an old teammate emerged on social media.

The video that has since become popular on social media showed the moment the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) chief exchanged pleasantries with the individuals whose name wasn't identified.

Dressed in a security uniform, they reminisced about their time playing together. Despite the somewhat awkward encounter, the footballer lightened the moment with his warm demeanor, smile, and kind words before departing.

He further asked his PA to set up a meeting for an extended conversation.

"We need to meet up and talk because I can’t speak right now. I have a meeting in 10 minutes. Talk to Christian (PA) to set up a meeting for us. Take care friend," Eto'o said.

The video has since sparked discussions online, with many praising Eto’o for his humility and respect.
