The Super Eagles of Nigeria will open camp in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) today, January 2 ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations.
The majority of the 25-man invitees are expected to arrive in camp from their respective clubs across Europe.
The likes of Samuel Chukwueze, Francis Uzoho, William Troost-EKong and Umar Sadiq will however join the team camp on Wednesday after they were granted permission by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to play for their clubs today.
The Super Eagles are expected to camp for a week in Abu Dhabi where they are expected to engage in intensive training ahead of the premier continental competition.
The team is expected to return to Nigeria on January 10 before jetting off to Ivory Coast the same day for the tournament.
The 2013 champions have been pitted in Group A with hosts Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.
The Eagles will begin their campaign against Equatorial Guinea at the Alssanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan on Sunday, January 14.
