A footage of Richarlison shedding tears after meeting Brazil legend Luiz Nazario Delima Ronaldo has emerged online.

The Spurs striker was on target as Brazil thumped South Korea 4-1 at Stadium 974 in the round of 16 of the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup.

It was the ex-Everton man's third goal of the tournament after netting a brace against Serbia in their group opener.

Neymar, Vinicius Junior and Luca Paqueta grabbed the remaining goals as the five-time world champions breezed past Paulo Bento's side the secure their place in the quarterfinals.

After the game, the former Brazil number 9 who scored an astonishing 66 goals in 99 caps for the Seleção Canarinho surprised Richarlison who couldn't hold back his tears after meeting with the 2002 World Cup winner.

Brazil will take on 2018 finalists Croatia at the quarterfinals on Friday, December 9.
