A Ghanaian footballer, Samuel Asamoah has received a red card for showing off the shirt under his jersey which has 'Jesus Loves You' inscribed on it.

The red card came following a second yellow card for taking off his jersey.

The Ghanaian got sent off after celebrating a hat-trick he scored in the game between Sint Truiden and KAS Eupen in the Belgian Jupilar Pro League.

Speaking after the game, Asamoah stated that he knew he would get a red card for taking off his shirt but did it anyway because he was excited that he scored a hat-trick.
