Liverpool are through to the Club World Cup final for the first time since 2005 thanks to a late winner by the super sub Firmino.

Firmino scored a late winner against Monterrey, a Mexican side that was fantastic defensively, and proved really hard to break down.

The European Champions advance to Saturday’s final against Flamengo, who rallied to defeat Saudi side Al-Hilal in yesterday’s first semi-final.
