World Cup qualifiers: Lookman, Premier League stars to swell Super Eagles camp on Monday

Europa League final hero Ademola Lookman is set to join the Super Eagles camp on Monday, June 3 ahead of the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

The in-form Atalanta forward was on the scoresheet for the third consecutive game as LA Dea lost 3-2 to Fiorentina in their final Serie game of the season on Sunday, June 2.

The 26-year-old ended the 2023/2024 campaign with 17 goals and 10 assists in 42 games across all competitions.

Fulham duo of Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey will also join the team today.

Also expected in camp are Bright Osayi-Samuel, Frank Onyeka, Semi Ajayi, Maduka Okoye and Paul Onuachu, as per Dailypost.

There are currently 15 players at the Super Eagles camp in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The Super Eagles will take on Bafana Bafana of South Africa on Friday, June 7 before taking on Benin Republic in their next encounter three days later.
